David M. Houseman has been appointed to the board of directors for the Rhode Island Hospitality Association. Houseman is vice president/ managing director of the Spring House Hotel and corporate director of food and beverage for the Atwells Restaurant Group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel/ restaurant administration from Johnson & Wales University and is a certified hotel administrator. •
