Deborah A. Grimes has been promoted from senior vice president of retail banking and human resources to executive vice president at Mechanic’s Cooperative Bank. She will now work directly with the board of directors and the CEO to bring future growth and strategic direction to the bank. Grimes holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in communications from Rhode Island College. •
