Ed Garcia has been named executive director of the Diabetes Association Inc.
He will oversee the operation and implementation of programs and services for people affected by diabetes in the South Coast area. He will also focus on donor development, corporate sponsorship and overall growth.
Garcia has a B.A. in history from the University of Rhode Island, where he is studying toward his M.A. in library and information science.
