Elizabeth Ponte has been named sales engineer of Teknor Apex’s thermoplastic elastomer division in Pawtucket. She is responsible for existing accounts and new business opportunities. Ponte will also develop product and service promotional tools. She joined Teknor Apex in 2001 as a process engineer in the vinyl division. Ponte has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and is pursuing an MBA at the University of Rhode Island.
