BURLINGTON, Mass. (PRNEWSWIRE) — Ezenia! Inc., a developer of real-time collaboration solutions for corporate networks and eBusinesses, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all operating assets and intellectual property of InfoWorkSpace, a business unit of General Dynamics Electronic Systems, for cash and common stock totaling $21 million payable in installments through 2002.
Under the terms of the agreement, Ezenia! will acquire the InfoWorkSpace product line and employ the management team and core group of developers. The closing of the acquisition is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions. Company officials said they expect to complete the closing in the first quarter of this year.
