Fleet allies with Miradiant

FleetBoston Financial has partnered with Miradiant, a provider of web-enabling
services, to provide agent bank services for Miradiant’s global accounts receivable
information exchange and settlement network. As part of the alliance, both companies
plan to enter to into a co-marketing agreement to provide Miradiant’s Web-enabled
financial settlement capabilities to Fleet’s corporate clients and online marketplaces.
Through Miradiant, companies and business-to-business marketplaces are able
to exchange and resolve invoice settlement details between trading partners.
“This alliance opens a new channel for our corporate clients to complete their
financial transactions online,” said Ken Deveaux, a senior vice president at
Fleet.
