Stephen Grennan has been named director of retail operations at Newport Creamery, Inc. of Middletown. He will oversee the management and operations of all 45 Newport Creamery restaurants. He has worked for the company for 30 years as a restaurant manager, wholesale manager and in research and development. Most recently Grennan was regional vice president in charge of the Connecticut region. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and a resident of Exeter.
