Gary D. Alexander has been appointed to the board of directors at the Rhode Island Quality Institute. Alexander is the secretary of the R.I. Office of Health and Human Services. He is responsible for the overall operations, management and policy development of four health and human services agencies. Prior to this position, Alexander served as the director of the R.I. Department of Human Services. •
