George Calat has been named vice president and chief actuary of Delta Dental Rhode Island. Calat will oversee the development of all pricing models for Delta Dental’s insurance plans and develop ratings, financial forecasts, claims accruals, utilization studies and fee analyses. Calat has a B.A. in mathematics from Hunter College.
