JPI, a luxury apartment developer, will break ground today at 11:30 a.m. on its newest endeavor, a 330-unit apartment building south of the Providence Place mall.
The project, called Jefferson at Providence Place, will be located on Harris Avenue.

The building, scheduled to be open in the fall and completed by the spring of 2003, will feature studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, with an average unit size of 955 square feet.
