Harris K. Weiner has been appointed of counsel to the Law Office of Jeffrey B. Pine. His focus is on civil litigation, business, real estate, construction and government matters. Weiner is the former executive counsel of the R.I. Department of Transportation and deputy executive counsel to Lincoln Almond. He clerked for R.I. Supreme Court Justice Thomas F. Kelleher and U.S. District Court Judge Ronald Lagueux. Weiner is minority legal counsel to the Rhode Island Senate and a trustee of the Providence Country Day School. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College in Maine, his juris doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis, Miss. and his master’s degree from Bryant College.
