Peter Baziotis, MD has been named anesthesiologist-in-chief at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island in Pawtucket. He has been assistant chief of anesthesia since 1997. He is a clinical instructor in medicine, specializing in chronic pain medicine, at Brown University. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologists and the American Academy of Pain Medicine. Baziotis has served as director of the Center for Pain Management at Memorial Hospital since 1995. He is a graduate of Tufts University and earned his medical degree from the Brown University School of Medicine. He served both an internship in internal medicine and a residency in anesthesiology at Yale Medical School/Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Pain Management, the Pawtucket Medical Society, the Rhode Island Medical Society and the Rhode Island Society of Anesthesiologists. He resides in Cranston.
