Lifespan has appointed State Rep. George Caruolo, a Democrat, to its board. He is a member of the law firm of Brown, Rudnick, Freed & Gesmer. He practices in the firm’s real estate, energy, construction and government relations groups. Caruolo received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his law degree from Suffolk University. He has served in the state House of Representatives for 18 years, five as majority leader. He is a member of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts bar associations.
