Martin R. Papazian, MD has been named chief of otolaryngology at Memorial Hospital
of Rhode Island. He maintains a private practice with locations in Paw-tucket,
Lincoln and Johnston, and is also active on the staff at Blackstone Valley Surgicare,
Miriam Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital. He has served
on the Memorial Hospital Contracting Committee and is president of the hospital’s
Physician Hospital Organization Board of Directors. Papazian performed a clinical
fellowship and general surgery residency at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston
and served as a resident in otolaryngology at the State University of New York
at Buffalo. He served an additional fellowship in otolaryngology at the Minnesota
Ear Head and Neck Clinic. He received his Bachelor of Science in chemistry and
his medical degree from Tufts University. He is a resident of Lincoln.
