Ellen Almeida has been named controller at Hopkins Manor, a North Providence skilled
nursing and rehabilitation facility. She will also continue to serve as controller
at Rosewood Manor, a 150-bed skilled nursing facility on Providence’s East Side,
where she has worked in that capacity for the past three years. She will be supervisor-in-charge
of all accounting functions for both facilities. Almeida is a graduate of Bryant
College and has 25 years of health-care financial experience. She is a licensed
nursing home administrator and has served as past president of the financial management
satellite section of the Rhode Island Health Care Association. She resides with
her husband and two daughters in Warren, Rhode Island.
