M. Lynne Francis, RN has been named vice president of nursing at Newport Hospital. She most recently served as site administrator at Olympus Specialty Hospital/Massachusetts Respiratory Hospital in Braintree, Mass., and previously served as administrative director of nursing at Morton Hospital and Medical Center in Taunton, Mass. Francis is a graduate of Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing, and also earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Rhode Island College. She received a master’s degree in nursing from Boston University. She resides in Warren.
