John L. Chan has been appointed to a three-year term on the board of trustees at Landmark Medical Center of Woonsocket. He is the president of Chan’s Fine Oriental Dining in Woonsocket, and is an active member of the community. Chan is the 1998 recipient of the William Blackstone Award, and in 1999 served as Grand Marshal of the Woonsocket Autumnfest parade.
