Ann Marie Spatharakis has been named sales manager for the Renaissance Providence Hotel. She will be responsible for developing the association market segment, a task she managed in 2001 and 2002 for the Boston Marriott Quincy. Spatharakis has worked for Marriott – the parent company of the Renaissance chain – since 1997, when she joined the chain as a housekeeping manager in Stamford, Conn.
