David A. Galvin has been promoted to senior vice president at FIRSTFED Insurance Agency, LLC. He previously served as vice president and co-manager and has been with the company since its inception two years ago. He was formerly employed as vice president at Braman & White, LLC of Middletown. He earned his bachelor of science degree at Springfield College. Galvin is president of the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Newport County, and chairman of the Rhode Island Area Council of Boys and Girls Clubs. He is a certified insurance counselor and member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors.
