Richard A. Fritz has joined Providence-based dental insurer Delta Dental of Rhode
Island as vice president and chief financial officer. He will be responsible for
overseeing all of Delta Dental’s financial, treasury, human resource and compliance
functions as well as the evaluation and assessment of e-business and strategic
initiatives. Fritz was formerly employed as chief financial officer at Lumapath,
Inc. of Maynard, Massachusetts, vice president of finance and administration at
Riverton Corporation of Burlington, Mass. and senior financial executive at Cadre
Technologies, formerly of Providence. He graduated from Providence College in
1979 and is a resident of Natick, Mass.
