James M. Vesey has been named executive vice president, and chief credit officer at The Washington Trust Co.. He has more than 30 years of banking experience including branch banking, corporate lending, and credit administration. Vesey is on the board of trustees of Kent Hospital, a member of the Rhode Island Bankers Association, and a member of the Risk Management Association. He has a B.A. from Bryant College.
