James Pinel has been named director of adult services at the Providence Center. Pinel is responsible for the administrative and clinical operations of the program, which provides care to adults with mental illness and substance-use problems. Pinel is a licensed clinical mental health counselor with more than 17 years of clinical experience. He has an M.A. in counseling from Rhode Island College. •
