Joanna Robbins has been named market manager for FleetBoston Financial in
the southern New England East region. She is responsible for managing
123 Fleet store locations, with more than 1,000 employees in R.I. and parts
of Conn. and Mass. Robbins has over 20 years of experience with the bank, most
recently holding the position of managing director of human resources for personal
financial services. She serves on the board of governor’s of the Boys &
Girls Club of Providence. Robbins earned a bachelor’s degree from Providence
College. She lives in Rehoboth, Mass.
