Joe Beck has been appointed vice president, director of information technology, at Bank Rhode Island. He will be responsible for managing the technology organization, overseeing computer infrastructure, networks, vendor relationships, help-desk applications and the client computing environment. Beck previously served as vice president and senior manager of desktop engineering at Bank of America. •
