John E. Finnerty, Jr. has been promoted to principal of the tax department of Lefkowitz, Garfinkel, Champi & DiRienzo P.C. His duties include tax planning, compliance and research activities relative to client matters. He currently concentrates his efforts in corporate, partnership, not-for-profit and individual taxation. Finnerty manages clients in various industries including real estate, construction, distribution and manufacturing. He is also responsible for the coordination and presentation of tax education to the staff of LGC&D. Finnerty is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Finnerty earned a bachelor’s degree from Nicols College and his master’s degree from Bryant College.
