Judy Sheehan has been named director of nursing education at Butler Hospital in Providence. She is responsible for assessing educational needs and working to insure that the hospital is an ongoing provider of continuing education for nurses. She has experience in program development, regulatory compliance, human rights, and staff development, most recently serving as director of staff development at Pembroke Hospital in Mass. Sheehan received a bachelor’s degree from Wagner College in Staten Island, N.Y. and her master’s degree from the University of Rhode Island.
