Katherine Whalen has been promoted to assistant general counsel at LIN TV Corp. Previously, Whalen served as a corporate attorney for Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP. In her new role, Whalen will act as principal legal adviser for various corporate transactions. She has a B.A. in political science and a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame. •
