George Schuetz has been promoted to director, precision gauges at Mahr Federal of Providence. His responsibilities will include developing the precision gauges business in North America through various channels of distribution as well as overseeing the company’s marketing, customer service and product management areas. He has been with Mahr Federal for 25 years, most recently serving as global product manager for the tool and gauge product line. Schuetz is a columnist for Modern Machine Shop and has contributed articles to Quality in Manufacturing, Quality Digest and Quality.
