Suresh Swaminathan has been named vice president at Teknor Apex Company of Pawtucket.
He has been business manager of the thermoplastic elastomer division since August
of 2000 and currently chairs the TPE business team. He is responsible for establishing
the strategic vision for Teknor Apex’s thermoplastic elastomer compound business.
Swaminathan began working at the company 14 years ago as process engineer and
has also been manager of business development and sales for the specialty elastomers
group, group leader of process engineering and technical manager of the vinyl
group. He holds a bachelor of technology degree in chemical engineering from the
University of Madras in India and a master of science degree in polymer engineering
from the University of Akron in Ohio. He is working on an MBA in marketing.
