Keith G. Saunders has been named program manager for the thermoplastic elastomer division at Teknor Apex Company of Pawtucket. His responsibilities will include managing long term developmental programs of new elastomers and will work with marketing management in areas of concept generation, market research and validation as well as overseeing commercialization of new products. He will also manage Teknor’s joint venture with Uniroyal and have marketing responsibilities for building and construction. He joined Teknor Apex in 1991 as TPE technical manager. He was formerly employed as manager, polymer materials and processes for Becton Dickinson of Rutherford, New Jersey. Saunders is a graduate of Western New England College in Springfield, Massachusetts with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He holds master of science and Ph.D. degrees in polymer science and engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He resides in Cumberland with his wife and two children.
