Mark Carruolo has been appointed chief of staff for Warwick Mayor Scott Avedisian. Carruolo previously served as the city’s planning director and acting co-chief of staff. He holds a bachelor’s in urban affairs and political science from the University of Rhode Island. Carruolo is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners. •
