Mark P. Sweeney has been named vice president for TD Insurance Inc., a subsidiary of TD Bank, in Providence. Sweeney has 13 years of insurance and banking experience. He will be responsible for new-client development as well as the management of health and welfare plans for clients in the commercial and middle market segments of Rhode Island, southeastern Massachusetts and the Cape Cod area and the islands. •
