Michael B. Scanlon has been named vice president/accounting manager at Citizens Bank. He most recently held the position of assistant vice president in the same position. He joined the bank in 1996 as a senior accounting officer. Scanlon is a member of the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Rhode Island Association of Public Accountants, and of the Boston Braves Historical Association. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago and his master’s degree from Providence College.
