Michael Bachstein has been named vice president of facilities development and engineering at Southcoast Hospitals Group. He will oversee functions such as facilities, maintenance, engineering, architecture and design and construction services. Bachstein, who joined Southcoast in 2008 as director of medical-space planning, had served as interim vice president since July 2009. •
