Michael Edwards has been named group executive vice president and treasurer of Citizens Financial Group. He most recently held the position of executive vice president and treasurer. He joined the bank in 1972 as a vice president trainee in the municipal finance department. Edwards is a graduate of the advanced management program at Harvard Business School and a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University in New Jersey. He received a bachelor’s degree from Brown University. He lives in Cape Porpoise, Maine.
