Michael J. Roy has been named senior vice president, compliance officer of Bank Rhode Island in Providence. He has nine years’ experience in the bank’s branch administration group. Roy will ensure bank-wide compliance with applicable state and federal laws. Roy has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bryant University and an MBA from Anna Maria College in Paxton, Mass.
