Nicholas Ferranti Jr. has been named chairperson of the board of directors for the North Central Chamber of Commerce. Ferranti, a retired Cranston police detective and founder of Coast to Coast Promotional Products Inc., has a long history of entrepreneurship and community service. He has held elective office in Cranston for 12 years, including a tenure as the president of Cranston’s city council. •
