James Robinson has joined AIDS Project Rhode Island (APRI) as development director.
He will manage fund-raising activities for the organization. He previously served
as assistant director of development at Phipps Community Development Corporation,
the human services affiliate of Phipps Houses, a developer/owner of affordable
housing for working poor families in New York City. He has also served as deputy
director of the New York City Mayor’s office under Mayor David N. Dinkins and
as staff assistant to the late congressman Ted Weiss.
