Dick Silverman has been named treasurer of Rhode Island Community Food Bank’s board of directors. He has been a member of the Food Bank Board since 1999. In addition to his work for the Food Bank, Silverman is on the advisory board of the Poverty Institute and is a Democracy Fellow of the Democracy Compact. He is also a Providence Chapter Rotarian. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He and his wife Linda are residents of Providence’s East Side.
