Rosie Connors has joined the Rhode Island Community Food Bank as major gifts coordinator. Her responsibilities will include maintaining and developing the list of major donors who support the Food Bank and its hunger-relief initiatives. She also arranges tours of the Food Bank for current and potential donors to help them become familiar with facility operations. Connors was employed for the past year as director of Giving Rhode Island, a statewide coalition to encourage philanthropy. Since 1999 she has served as chapter administrator for the Rhode Island chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is a resident of Rumford.
