Online program a tool for senior citizens

NEWPORT, R.I. — Launched May 1, senior-records.com lets older adults safeguard their
personal medical records on a safe and secure Web site. In addition, seniors can
make their histories available online to authorized doctors and caregivers, helping
prevent misdiagnoses and delayed or improper treatment during emergencies. “We
started senior-records.com because we knew that many older adults and their families
were concerned about the completeness and accuracy of their medical information,”
said David Stern, president and chief executive officer of online-registries Inc.,
the parent company of senior-records.com.
