Paula Krebs has been named a member of the board of directors for the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities. Krebs is a professor of English at Wheaton College. She is also the founder of the Summer Institute for Literary and Cultural Studies, a Mellon Foundation-funded national program. Krebs also edits Academe, the American Association of University Professors magazine. •
