PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Pinkerton Security, the largest security services company in the U.S., has established a Rhode Island headquarters at 275 Westminster Street in Providence. The company, which has more than 475 offices in the U.S., expects to create 150 jobs as a result of the office opening.
Pinkerton’s services include uniform security, electronics, patrol services and consulting services. More than 80 percent of Fortune 1000 companies in the U.S. buy one or more of its services, the company said.
