Camilla Spliid of Smithfield has been named marketing consultant at Rhode Island Monthly Communications, Inc., a subsidiary of the Providence Journal Company. She will be responsible for marketing Rhode Island Monthly magazine and its specialty publications. She was formerly employed in advertising sales at On Cape Business magazine and as advertising Sales Director at Treasure Chest Publishing and general sales manager at Colony Interconnects. She also owned her own convention marketing company. Spliid is a graduate of the University of Delaware. She resides in Smithfield.
