David A. Crocker has been named building services manager at The Providence Journal Company. His responsibilities will include managing the newspaper’s environmental compliance, ink systems, building maintenance and cleaning, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) and interoffice dispatch. He joined The Providence Journal Company in 1987 as operations superintendent and was formerly employed as senior marine engineer at A.S.K., Inc. and marine engineer at ARCO Marine, Inc. Crocker holds a master’s in business administration from Providence College and an undergraduate degree in marine engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy. He is a resident of North Providence.
