QuickLabel challenges Zebra

WEST WARWICK, R.I. — The QuickLabel Systems Product Group of Astro-Med, Inc., has announced
plans to challenge the barcode printer market leader, Zebra Technologies Corporation,
with the introduction of a new series of barcode printers and a direct sales marketing
strategy. QuickLabel, known as a manufacturer and direct supplier of digital color
label printers and printer consumables, has entered the barcode printer market
with the introduction of the ¡Pronto! Family of barcode printers which will be
sold direct to end-users.
