Scott Berkey has joined Providence-based engineering software developer ABAQUS Inc. as vice president of worldwide operations. Berkey, previously the chief executive officer of Axentis Inc. in Ohio, has served in senior positions at software and other technology companies for most of his career. In his new role, he will provide strategic and operational direction for sales, service and technical support.
