Scott E. Orchard has been named partner at Edwards & Angell in Providence. He joined the firm in 2000 as part of the corporate department and private equity practice group. Orchard represents buyout funds, venture capitalists and emerging companies. He is admitted to the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bars. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California Berkeley and a law degree from the University of Virginia.
