Sharon L. Morgan has been named vice president and branch manager at Washington Trust Co. in the Franklin Street branch in Westerly. Morgan is responsible for the branch’s overall growth and development, overseeing retail operations and mortgage origination. She joined the bank in 1998 and has had a series of promotions since. Morgan has a B.A. from Providence College. •
