Shawn Parker has been appointed director of education for the Newport Art Museum. He has 14 years of experience in museum education. Parker has a B.A. in art history from the University of Connecticut and an M.A. in the theory and history of art from Binghamton University, State University of New York. He also received Project Management Professional training certification from Bryant University. •
